Famous Hindi cinema actress Deepika Padukone has joined the Cannes Film Festival as a jury member this year. The special thing this year is that India has been made the 'Country of Honor' at Cannes. Inaugurated the Indian Pavilion in Cannes on Wednesday. On this occasion, Deepika Padukone got everyone's applause with her words. She said that a day will surely come when India will not come to Cannes, but Cannes will be in India.

Deepika Padukone said, "I am very proud that this year is the 75th year of Cannes and India also turns 75. I never thought that India will be the spotlight country and I will be part of the jury. .15 years back when I came into this industry I don't think anyone believed in me, my talent, and my craft .15 years later to be a part of the jury here and experience the world's best cinema...this has been a wonderful journey. I am extremely grateful for this."

Deepika said, "I am sure that India is on the cusp of greatness. This is only the beginning. It is people like Rahman sir (AR Rahman) and Shekhar sir (Shekhar Kapur) who made India recognized globally. It is only because of you that people like us have been able to come here. As a country, we still have a long way to go."

During this, Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur, and famous musicians AR Rahman and Shekhar Kapur were also seen sitting there with Deepika. On this occasion, Deepika said that she feels proud to be leading the country at Cannes. She said that I am sure that a day will surely come when India will not be in Cannes but Cannes will be in India.
