Aditi Rao Hydari will not be seen in the second season of Heeramandi

The second part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's debut web series 'Heeramandi' has been announced. In Heeramandi 2, all the courtesans will now move from Lahore to Bombay. Many of the courtesans will be seen becoming a part of the film industry of Mumbai and Kolkata. But in this new journey, Bibbhojaan i.e. Aditi Rao Hydari was nowhere to be seen and fans are missing her a lot.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's first web series 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar' has created a lot of buzz online. There was a lot of discussion about the show as well as its star cast. The main features of Bhansali's films have been huge sets, king-like clothes, and strong acting from the beginning. Although fans liked many characters in this series, they became especially attached to Aditi Rao Hydari who played Bibbhojaan. Her 'Gajgamini walk' has created a stir on the internet.

Bhansali announces Season 2

One character in the series that particularly upset people was Sharmin Segal who appeared as Alamzeb. On June 3, Sanjay Leela Bhansali announced that the second season of Hiramandi is also coming. After this, a section on social media started requesting Bhansali not to cast his niece Sharmin again in season 2.

Fans disappointed

In Heeramandi 2, all the courtesans will now move from Lahore to Mumbai. Many of the courtesans will be seen becoming a part of the film industry of Mumbai and Kolkata. A promo of season 2 was shared with 100 Kathak dancers, which featured Manisha Koirala as Mallikajaan, Sonakshi Sinha as Faridan, Sanjeeda Sheikh as Waheeda, and Indresh Malik as Ustad but Bibojaan was missing in the series. It is being speculated that fans will not see Bibojaan in this season.

According to ETimes report, in the comment section, fans requested the makers to bring back Aditi in the second season and replace Sharmin. One user commented, “Can we replace Sharmin's character with Bibbhojaan so that Aditi can come back?

Currently, no update has been given about the release date of 'Heeramandi 2'. There is also no information about which actors will be seen in the second season. While Sonakshi, Manisha, Aditi, and Pratibha Ranta received a lot of praise in the first series, Bhansali's niece Sharmin Sehgal (character of Alamzeb) was trolled a lot for her performance.
