Dedicated to some of India's unknown heroes and their unknown stories, Karan Johar has presented to the audience the story of Usha, who is only 22 years old. She is a brave girl, who displayed unique bravery and deep patriotism for the country during the Quit India Movement of 1942. Usha tried to unite the country against the British Raj by using a secret radio.

Now his inspirational story has reminded filmmakers of Sehmat Syed from Raazi, who married into a Pakistani army family to spy on them, and PVC Captain Vikram Batra from Shershaah who struck fear in the hearts of his enemies. Not only this, he also sacrificed his life in the Kargil war.

Karan Johar further says in the video that 'Ae Watan Mere Watan' depicts the extraordinary story of Usha. In the end, it is said that the trailer of the film will be released on March 4. Apart from Sara, in this film directed by Kannan Iyer, Sachin Khedekar, Sparsh Srivastava, Abhay Verma, Alex O'Neil, and Anand Tiwari are in the lead roles.
