Akshay shared a video, in which he said, no one needs permission on the ground to dream in the sky. This is the story of a common man, whose dream was to make air travel possible for every common man. He further said, that the world stopped him, refused to spread his wings, and called him a sarfira, but he did not stop because a sarfira is the one who breaks the rules made by the world.

Sarfira Story and Sarfira star cast 

Sarfira is a story inspired by real life, the film also stars Akshay Kumar along with Radhika Madan, Paresh Rawal, and Seema Biswas. It is directed by Sudha Kongara, who has previously directed a Tamil film called Soorrai Pottru. Sarfira is actually a Hindi remake of Soorrai Pottru, in which South superstar Surya played the lead role. The film won five National Awards, including Best Feature Film and Best Actor awards.
