Farah Khan's mother, Daisy Irani, and Honey Irani's sister Menaka Irani is no more in this world. Farah's mother breathed her last in Mumbai on Friday at the age of 79. According to reports, she was ill for some time. The news of Menaka's death has shocked the film industry. Fans are also paying tribute to her with sadness.

These stars reached for the last darshan

Many Bollywood stars reached her house with moist eyes to bid a final farewell to Farah Khan's mother. Salim Khan was also seen during this time. Apart from them, Manish Paul, Rani Mukerji, Bhushan Kumar, Shilpa Shetty, Sanjay Kapoor, and Shiv Thackeray also attended the last rites.

Farah Khan's mother had undergone surgery

Farah celebrated her mother's 79th birthday just two weeks ago. She shared photos with her mother on Instagram and told about her illness. She said, "We all take our mothers lightly, especially me. Last month I realized how much I love my mother Menaka. She is the strongest and bravest person I have ever seen. Even after several surgeries, her sense of humor is intact."

Farah Khan further wrote, "Happy birthday mother. Today is a good day to come back home. I am waiting for you to get stronger so that you can start fighting with me again. I love you."

Menaka Irani Films

Farah Khan's mother Maneka has also been an actress. She worked with Salman Khan's father and writer-actor Salim Khan in the 1963 film 'Bachpan'. This was Maneka's only movie. After this film flopped, Maneka distanced herself from cinema. Then she married producer Kamran Khan.
