Prime Video has released the stunning trailer for its new original docuseries, "Angry Young Men". The three-part series is based on the life and career of the famous writer duo Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar, popularly known as Salim-Javed. In the 1970s, Salim-Javed transformed Indian cinema by introducing the 'angry young man' hero to Bollywood.

They shifted focus from romance to action-drama, which became very popular. Produced by Salman Khan Films, Excel Media and Entertainment, and Tiger Baby, Angry Young Men is executive produced by Salman Khan, Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, and Reema Kagti. With this, director Namrata Rao is making her debut. Angry Young Men will premiere on Prime Video on August 20 in India and more than 240 countries.

What did Salim-Javed say
Salim Khan says, “I started my career as an actor, but found that my real strength was in storytelling. So, I decided to focus on writing, which came more naturally to me. I met Javed, who was passionate about writing, and together we did some great work, which I am very proud of. We had a successful journey and challenged the norms of the industry." Javed Akhtar adds, "When I came to this city as a young man, I had no job, no contacts, and no money, and I would often go to bed hungry. Despite this, I never gave up. I always knew I wanted to share my life story with the world. We have been really touched by the support we have received from our family, friends, and the industry as we have shared our journey."
