Scam 2010: The Subrata Roy Saga Motion Poster
Hansal Mehta is going to bring the third series of his Scam franchise. After Scam 1992 and Scam 2003 The Telgi Story, Hansal Mehta has announced his upcoming scam series Scam 2010 The Subrata Roy Saga. The first glimpse of the third part has also been revealed. This time Hansal Mehta will expose the scam of Rs 25 thousand crores.
After the success of 'Scam 2003', Hansal Mehta is now preparing to bring his new scam series. Hansal Mehta started the scam series in the year 2020. The director's first series was based on the stock exchange mastermind Harshad Mehta. In the year 2023, the light was thrown on the stamp scam and the life of Abdul Karim Telgi. Now in the third episode of Scam, Hansal is bringing the story of Subrata Roy Sahara, named 'Scam 2010: The Subrata Roy Saga'.

Hansal Mehta shared the first glimpse of his upcoming series with fans on social media on Thursday. He has shared the motion poster of 'Scam 2010: The Subrata Roy Saga' on X. Along with this, the director wrote in the caption, "Scam 3 is back. Scam 2010: The Subrata Roy Saga is coming soon. In the motion poster, a man is seen standing on the stage and there are thousands of people in front of him. As of now, The casting of 'Scam 2010' has not been unveiled yet. This series will be streamed on Sony Liv.

Who is Subrata Roy?
Hansal Mehta's series 'Scam 2010' is based on Tamal Bandyopadhyay's book 'Sahara: The Untold Story'. It tells about Subrata Roy, who was the founder of Sahara Group. Caught in a whirlwind of allegations ranging from chit-fund manipulation to fake investors. Subrata was later arrested for investor fraud.

He remained in jail for more than two years and came out on parole in 2016. However, he did not get relief. SEBI approached the Supreme Court demanding cancellation of his parole and he was again put in jail. Subrata Roy was accused of committing a scam of Rs 25 thousand crores. He died in 2023 at the age of 75.
