Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra's properties are seized by ED

The troubles of actress Shilpa Shetty's husband and industrialist Raj Kundra have increased. It has come to light that the ED (Enforcement Directorate) has taken action against the properties of Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty. ED has tweeted that immovable and movable assets worth Rs 97.79 crore of Ripu Sudan Kundra alias Raj Kundra have been temporarily seized.

These attached properties also include a residential flat in Juhu which is currently in the name of Shilpa Shetty. Apart from this, Raj Kundra has a residential bungalow in Pune, ED has also taken action on this bungalow.

Enforcement Directorate Mumbai

According to a post by 'ANI' on X, the ED has temporarily attached immovable and movable assets worth Rs 97.79 crore of Shilpa Shetty's husband Ripu Sudan Kundra alias Raj Kundra. This action has been taken under the provisions of PMLA 2002. The seized properties also include a flat in Juhu in the name of Shilpa Shetty. Along with this, Shilpa and Raj's bungalow in Pune and equity shares in the name of Raj Kundra have also been seized, ED has informed.

Raj Kundra has been accused of running a large-scale Bitcoin scam by luring people with 10 percent monthly returns in exchange for investments. ED also says that Raj Kundra is currently earning a profit of Rs 150 crore by taking advantage of the Bitcoin case.

Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra's names came up in the Bitcoin scam. It is being told that this is a scam of about two thousand crores. In this case, both of them were summoned by ED in 2018. He was also interrogated. The main accused Amit Bhardwaj was then arrested in this case. This scam was also said to be related to money laundering. Crores of rupees were defrauded through a website named gatbitcoin.com. This matter is related to Kundra. That is why he was interrogated. It is not clear whether Kundra or the investors are guilty in this case.
