Sonali Kar's Early Life and Education

Sonali Kar, known as Machi, was born on 5th September 1989, in Kolkata West Bengal. She has had an interest in dancing since childhood and she also won many awards in dance competitions, on national and state levels.  Sonali Kar learned many dance forms like Bharatanatyam, Kathak, and contemporary. She studied in Kolkata and then moved to Mumbai to become a professional dancer. 

Career and Achievements of Sonali Kar

Sonal Kar took training in dancing and worked really hard to improve her skills. When she moved to Mumbai to pursue her career in dancing and to fulfill her dreams of becoming a professional choreographer she gave auditions for many different reality shows and also got selected in many of them. Sonali first appeared in a dance reality show on Zee TV Dance India Dance (DID Doubles) in 2011.

• Sonali Kar came to fame and was recognized by participating in the second season of Super Dancer in 2017 by choreographer Abir Ahmed a dancer from Assam. They both reached the top six by impressing the judges and the audience but could not win the trophy.
• Then she again returned in the fourth season of Super Dancer in the year 2021 there she was a choreographer for Esha Mishara a dancer from Delhi. Their amazing chemistry and performances set fire on stage and also won the hearts of judges and became one of the finalists.
• Again in 2021, she choreographed a contestant Zamrrudh from Hyderabad in the dance reality show India's Best Dancer Season 2.
