Tamil Director Surya Kiran Passes Away in a young age

Child actor turned director Surya Kiran, who directed notable films like 'Satyam' and 'Dhana 51' in Telugu with Sumanth Akkineni, died at his home in Chennai on March 11. According to reports, the South Entertainment headliner director, who was married to actress Kalyani (Kaveri) and divorced after a few years, died due to illness.

As per the available information, Surya Kiran was suffering from severe jaundice, which took his life after a tough battle. He was admitted to GEM Hospital, Chennai for treatment, where he struggled for a few days and breathed his last today.

Surya Kiran was a famous child actor who appeared in several films alongside superstars from the Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu industries. He acted in around 200 films as a child artiste, including Mouna Geethangal, Padukathavan, etc. During his stint as a child artiste, he was credited as Master Suresh.

He made his directorial debut with the 2003 film Satyam, starring Sumanth Akkineni and Genelia, which brought him instant fame and success. He later made Dhana 51 again with Sumanth in 2005. Surya Kiran, also known as Surya Kiran, then directed films such as Brahmastram (2006), Raju Bhai (2007), and Chapter 6 (2010). He neglected his professional career after his divorce and separation from actress Kalyani (Kaveri), whom he married after both families agreed.
