June 2025 Theater Release

The first quarter proved to be very good at the box office. Films like Sky Force, Emergency and Game Changer started in January. Chhava came in February and this film saved the honor of Bollywood films. By doing business of more than 800 crores, this film is still ruling the box office.

The second quarter came in 2025, and many big films were released in theaters in April. There were a lot of expectations from the way Jaat to Kesari Chapter 2 got an opening, but both the films flopped. Only one film was released in May as well, which was Ajay Devgan's Raid 2. The second quarter may have started slow at the box office, but now the month of June will make Bollywood rich, because next month, 6 big films are releasing in theaters. Which are those films? "Thug Life" trailer drops, starring Kamal Haasan

Kamal Haasan's film Thug Life will start June very strongly at the box office. This multi-starrer gangster action drama film is directed by Mani Ratnam. Apart from Kamal Haasan, the Thug Life cast includes Silambarasan, Trisha Krishnan, Abhirami, Aishwarya Lakshmi, and Ashok Selvan will be seen. This film will be released worldwide in IMAX format.  Thug Life's Release Date is on 5th June 2025 and will also be released in Hindi.

Housefull 5 Release Date

The very next day after Thug Life hit the theaters, Akshay Kumar is coming with his Housefull platoon. This time, 17 big superstars will be seen together in his biggest comedy franchise. This time, along with the story, the audience is going to have a lot of fun watching the bloody game on the cruise. Housefull 5 Movie Release Date is 6th June 2025.

Sitaare Zameen Par Release Date

Aamir Khan and Genelia D'Souza's film 'Sitaare Zameen Par' is also included in the list of films that will rock next month in June and fill the box office account. With this film, Mr. Perfectionist is returning to the screen after 3 years. The response that the Sitaare Zameen Par trailer of the sports drama film has received is clear that the movie can be successful in making a new record. Sitaare Zameen Par is going to release on 20th June 2025 in theaters.

Kuberaa Movie Release Date

To compete with Aamir Khan's film 'Sitaare Zameen Par', the social thriller film 'Kubera' is also releasing in theaters on the same day, i.e., 20th June 2025. Directed by Shekhar Kammula, the film stars Dhanush in the lead role, while Kuberaa movie cast includes Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna, and Jim Sarbh in important roles. 

Maa Kajol Movie

Kajol is surprising the audience with her back-to-back performances. Kajol, who plays the role of a mother well in real life, is now bringing a film on screen with this title, which is made under the banner of Devgan Productions. Apart from Kajol, the Maa Movie Cast includes Indranil Sen and Ronit Roy in the lead roles in the movie. Maa 2025 scheduled on 27th June 2025.

Gyanvapi Files (Gyanvapi Files: A Tailor's Murder Story)

On June 28, 2022, two people murdered tailor Kanhaiya Lal Sahu by slitting his throat in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Now, a film has been made on this real incident, Gyanvapi Files, which will soon clash with Kajol's film 'Maa' at the box office. Directed by Bharat S Srinath and Jayant Sinha, the film will feature Vijayraj, Preeti Jhangiani, and Mustakh Khan in lead roles. Gyanvapi Files hits the theater on 27th June 2025.
