Rhea Chakraborty's troubles increased, and NCB filed a charge sheet in court

A new update has come about actress Rhea Chakraborty. The NCB on Wednesday filed a draft charge in a special court against Rhea Chakraborty in a narcotics case related to the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Its hearing is on 12 July.

The NCB on Wednesday filed draft charges in a special court against actress Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Shovik Chakraborty and others in a narcotics case related to the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Special Public Prosecutor Atul Sarpande said that the prosecution upheld the charges against all the accused which were mentioned in the charge sheet filed before the court.

The prosecution has proposed to the court charges of drug abuse against Riya and Shovik Chakraborty and the purchase and payment of such substances for actor Rajput. Sarpande said that the court was supposed to frame charges against all the accused, but it could not be done as some of the accused have filed discharge applications. He said that the court has said that charges will be framed only after the discharge petitions are decided.

The hearing will be held on this day
All the accused including Rhea Chakraborty and Shovik appeared in the court on Wednesday. Special Judge V.G. Raghuvanshi fixed July 12 for the next hearing in the case. Let us tell you that Rhea was arrested in this case in September 2020. About a month after his arrest, she was granted bail by the Bombay High Court.
