Giving information on its official X account, news agency ANI said that Rupali Ganguly has joined the party at the BJP headquarters in Delhi. Rupali Ganguly said,

"As a citizen, we all should participate in this. It is with the blessings of Mahakal and Mata Rani that I meet many people through my art. When I see this great sacrifice of development, I feel that I Should also participate in this.
