Kannada Actor Dwarakish Passed Away at the age of 81
Famous Kannada film actor Bengal Shama Rao Dwarkanath has passed away at the age of 81. In his film career, he worked in more than 100 films. Because of his comic characters, he was very popular in every household.

The bad news is coming one after the other from South Industry. This morning itself, Padmashree awarded famous musician and singer KG Jayan passed away. The fans had not yet recovered from the shock of the singer's demise when now the news of the demise of a famous actor, director, and producer came to light. It seems as if someone has caught the eye of the South Industry and many stalwarts are losing their lives one by one. The shadow of death is looming over the industry and there is only sadness everywhere. Veteran Kannada film actor Bengali Shama Rao Dwarkanath has passed away at the age of 81. He was also known as Dwarkish. He breathed his last after suffering a heart attack on Tuesday.

In his film career, he acted in more than 100 films and also produced and directed about 50 films. Born in Hunsur in the Mysuru district, Dwarakish was famous for comic roles in films. Because of his comic timing, he was recognized in every household. The credit goes to him for introducing singer Kishore Kumar to the Kannada film industry with the song 'Aadu Aata Aadu'.
Big success was achieved with this film
Dwarkesh Kannada actor obtained a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Dwarakish made his debut in the industry in 1966 by co-producing 'Mamtheya Bandhan' under the banner of Thunga Pictures. He achieved great success as a producer with his film 'Mayer Muthanna'. The film featured Kannada matinee idols Dr. Rajkumar and Bharathi in lead roles.

Politicians paid tribute
Many politicians have paid tribute to him on his death. Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar said that Dwarakish used to bring life to the characters as a comedian, hero, and supporting actor. Former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy said his service to the Kannada film industry not only as an artiste but also as a producer and director is unforgettable. BJP state president and Shikaripura MLA BY Vijayendra and former Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai also expressed grief over his demise.
